Father of singer accused of rape says it is conspiracy

Father of Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred refuted the new accusations against his son, as a Moroccan girl accused him of attempting to rape her, describing then as fabricated. He added that such claims come in the framework of the conspiracy to undermine his future.
The Moroccan artist Al Bashir Abdou, Lamjarred's father, said that it is not logic to believe such allegations, saying that they aim to keep his son inside the prison. He stressed that the girl attempts to blackmail his son to achieve financial gains.
Lamjarred's father denied what raised over his son's recognition of committing the violation, while signaled that he had a relationship with her.
He added, "My son is innocent. I believe in the fairness of French judiciary. I will resume the judicial measures to prove the innocence of my son before the public opinion."
